I have never jumped in someone's conversation to ask a slightly different question, however, please excuse me for doing so just this once. There is a key changer that you may download from the Microsoft's website, but it's useless. So, i googled around and found this trick. It worked! It is very useful nowadays because the student key v2cMK7JD So in order to change it, you might be needing this method otherwise you have to reformat your computer and install it with a new key.
This method worked like a charm. It's not that difficult though Click on the WPAEvents folder. Microsoft suggests creating a restore point, which is always a good idea before making changes to your Windows XP installation. Note the gentle warning about sending information to Microsoft so the system can verify the validity of your operating system. When you are finished, click Next and then Finished on the next screen to restart Windows.
